National Instructors Course - UPDATE

The instructors course which was cancelled at short notice, has now been re-scheduled for Sunday 21st June 2009 at Kildare CYMS hall 10am
Over the last year, we have been working on redesigning our Instructors course to include more information on how to teach, give feedback and develop student's skills.
The course will be conducted by Master Brendan O'Toole VII degree, and Mr. Kevin Hannigan V degree and will cost €50.
Some topics covered:
- Warming up (why & how to warm up effectively)
- Key elements of the syllabus from 10th Kup to 5th Kup including the most common mistakes made at each stage during the syllabus
- Managing beginners
- Correcting Students
- Stretching & Conditioning
This course will be of great benefit to any member who either teaches or assists in your club or anyone who may have aspirations to open their own club in the future.
The course is open to students from Red Belt upwards is also a part of the requirement for any members intending to present for 3rd degree grading.
Course 10am-4pm at CYMS Hall , Kildare Town.
